Founded in 2020
Ink Kingz
Ink Kingz Tattoo & Piercing Academy was founded in 2020 by James Williams and his partner Nicole. James, originally a tiler from Beeston fell in love with the tattoo industry after getting his first tattoo of a black panther on his arm. James began looking around for an apprenticeship and shortly after found himself working alongside a Leeds based Tattoo artist who taught him the art of tattooing.
James educated himself on the tattoo industry as a whole and picked up tips and tricks on running a business – having a few small ventures on the burner whilst he perfected his skills as a tattoo artist. Upon feeling he had mastered his new craft he setup Ink Kingz tattoo & Piercing Academy and took the first step towards creating the studio it is today.
